4/9: Why is a "Single-Crop economy" bad?

If the price of that item drops then they have nothing to fall back on for income

If there is a drought or a change in climate the crop may not grow any more. Also if a competitor sells the same crop for less you will lose lots of money and the economy would fall apart.

A single-crop economy is bad because if something we're to happen to that one crop or someone were to sell it for cheaper then the economy would crash.

It is bad because if the single crop has a shortage or all dies then there would be no food or business

It is bad because if something happened to the crop they would not anything to sell to get the money they need

if there is a natural disaster in the country you would lose all the crops and money you put into the crops.

If the crops supply and demand goes down your economy goes down
